    Data is from the March 2016 LinkedIn report titled "The Tech Marketer Difference." 2,232 marketers worldwide were surveyed online in January 2016. 51% of respondents were tech marketers and 49% worked in other sectors. Respondents were from Australia/New Zealand (4%), Canada (5%), France (4%), Germany (3%), Hong Kong (1%), India (15%), Netherlands (2%), Singapore (6%), the UK (11%) and the US (50%). To ensure that the data was representative, global data was weighted by the relative number of marketers per country on LinkedIn's platform. Tech marketers identified the number of employees at their company as 1-50 (32%), 51-1,000 (30%) and 1,000+ (38%). Nontech marketers identified the number of employees at their company as 1-50 (39%), between 51-1,000 (26%) and 1,000+ (35%). 79% of tech and 51% of nontech respondents worked at B2B companies.
