Data is from the October 2018 Edelman report titled "2018 Edelman Earned Brand." 8,000 internet users ages 18+ in Brazil (n=1,000), China (n=1,000), France (n=1,000), Germany (n=1,000), India (n=1,000), Japan (n=1,000), the UK (n=1,000) and US (n=1,000) were surveyed online during July 10-20, 2018. For the whole survey sample of 8,000, the margin of error is +/-1.1 percentage points. For the country survey samples of 1,000, the margin of error is +/-3.1 percentage points. A separate mobile survey of 32,000 respondents in Brazil (n=4,000), China (n=4,000), France (n=4,000), Germany (n=4,000), India (n=4,000), Japan (n=4,000), the UK (n=4,000) and US (n=4,000) were surveyed during June 29-July 24, 2018. For the whole survey sample of 32,000, the margin of error is +/-0.6 percentage points. For the country survey samples of 4,000, the margin of error is +/-1.6 percentage points.
