    Data is from the June 2016 Boston Retail Partners "2016 Customer Experience/Unified Commerce Survey" sponsored by Aptos, Experian Marketing Services, Fujitsu, Manhattan Associates, NCR, PCMS, Radial and Enactor. More than 500 retail executives in North America were surveyed during March-April 2016. Respondents were primarily C-level executives or directors/VPs of IT. Retail categories included in the study were drugstores (2%), food & beverage (5%), general merchandise (9%), grocery, restaurants (2%), specialty hard goods (33%), specialty soft goods (36%) and other (13%).
