Interactive Advertising Bureau Ireland (IAB Ireland) | PwC
Data is from the April 2017 Interactive Advertising Bureau Ireland (IAB Ireland) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) "2016 IAB PwC Adspend Study" as cited in press release. Data is based on submissions from 27 leading publishers operating in Ireland, many of whom represent multiple websites. Other participants include sales houses and advertising networks. IAB Ireland estimates the study accounts for 90% of digital ad spend. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter do not publish their earnings from advertisers in Ireland. Instead, PwC in conjunction with IAB created an independent estimate of their revenues from advertisers and agencies in Ireland by extrapolating from spend data provided directly by a representative sample of their clients. Figures are reported on a gross basis and include agency commissions.
