Data is from the May 2017 Social Media Examiner "2017 Social Media Marketing Industry Report." 5,710 marketers worldwide from a variety of industries were surveyed online in January 2017. Respondents were from the US (49%), the UK (8%), Canada (6%), Australia (4%), India (4%) and other countries (29%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as 1 (22%), 2-10 (39%), 11-25 (11%), 26-99 (12%), 100-249 (6%), 250-499 (3%), 500-999 (2%) and 1,000+ (5%). Respondents identified their focus as primarily marketing to consumers (67%) and to businesses (33%).
