    Data is from the August 2016 RIS News and Edgell Knowledge Network "Third Annual Customer Engagement Tech Trends Study" sponsored by CodeBroker. 58 senior-level retail executives in North America with significant responsibility over IT and marketing/customer engagement in the apparel and accessories (22%), food, drug and convenience (30%), general merchandise (4%), online (2%) and specialty (35%) categories were surveyed during June-July 2016.
