Data is from the October 2016 TrackMaven study titled "The Best Times to Post on Social Media." 17.5 million social media posts from 17,737 brands worldwide across 75 industries were analyzed during January 1-July 31, 2016. Posts included links, photos, text and video shared on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter. Posts were all in English. Engagement rates and the number of interactions per post per 1,000 followers for each post were analyzed. TrackMaven is a marketing analytics platform.
