    Data is from the February 2017 Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel (bevh) report titled "Interaktiver Handel in Deutschland 2016" conducted by Gesellschaft für Innovative Marktforschung (GIM) in collaboration with ChannelAdvisor. 40,000 consumers ages 14+ were surveyed during January-December 2016. 20,000 consumers ages 14+ in Germany were surveyed online and 20,000 consumers ages 14+ were surveyed via telephone. 9,775 respondents purchased products digitally in the past 7 days (8,536 excluding marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, etc.) and 879 respondents purchased services digitally in the past 7 days (877 excluding marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, etc.).
