Data is from a February 2016 Localytics analysis. Localytics analyzed more than 37,000 mobile/web apps using Localytics software across more than 2.7 billion devices worldwide on February 7, 2016. For this study, Localytics multiplied average in-app sessions per user by average session length to calculate time in-app measurement. For the breakdown by hour, Localytics observed the time period of 6pm-11pm based on Eastern Standard Time. Localytics is a marketing and analytics platform for mobile and web apps.
