Data is from the June 2016 Apsalar report titled "App Uninstall Rates: Android Benchmarks Report." Average 4-week uninstall rates were measured during Q1 2016 among Android apps utilizing Apsalar's analytics platform worldwide. Silent push notifications are sent to each device advertising ID that has reported an install. If the app is still present, the notification is recorded as delivered; if the app is not present, the notification cannot be delivered and the app is recorded as uninstalled. Apsalar is an omnichannel data management platform.
