    Data is from the January 2017 Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online Forschung (AGOF) report titled "AGOF facts & figures 'Automobil' (Q4 2016)." The report is based on data from the AGOF report titled "digital facts 2016-09." Data was also drawn from a multimethod approach conducted monthly, for which 113,898 consumers ages 14+ in Germany were surveyed during July 1-September 30, 2016 via tracking, a survey conducted onsite as well as in-app, a panel survey and a telephone survey. The respondent base was weighted to represent the population in Germany. The automotive industry was defined to include the following products/services: car financing, navigation systems, new cars, rental cars and used cars.
