    Data is from the Simmons Research "Summer 2016 National Consumer Study." 25,343 US adult consumers, including 9,081 with annual household incomes of $100,000+, were surveyed during July 27, 2015-August 31, 2016. Phase 1 consisted of either a telephone placement interview or a mail-based recruitment questionnaire to obtain the household's participation in the survey. Phase 2 involved mailing self-administered survey booklets to eligible household members.
