Three-quarters of internet users in Finland are smartphone users, according to eMarketer
Over 60% of smartphone users in Finland ages 15 to 74 checked their email via smartphone during an average week throughout the summer of 2016, according to a September 2016 Dentsu Aegis Network study. eMarketer's figures project that in 2017 about 75% of internet users in Finland will be smartphone users.

Another unsurprising fact? Young internet users in Finland were more likely to use smartphones than their older counterparts—so much so that officials in free WiFi-rich Helsinki have enacted an ad campaign critical of so much smartphone usage.
Almost 100% of internet users ages 15 to 24 were smartphone users over the summer of 2016, according to Dentsu Aegis Network's report, a much higher figure than the 78% of those ages 15 to 74 who are smartphone users.
For those under age 45, though, around 90% were smartphone users, which means that, though there are some stark differences between the percentage of internet users who are smartphone users in the youngest and oldest age groups, internet users in Finland love their smartphones well into middle age.
