Happier Returns: UK ecommerce shoppers' less than stellar satisfaction with order returns is rising, according to a Q2 study conducted by eDigitalResearch (edr) for the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG) and supply chain software firm BluJay Solutions. The study found 67% of respondents were positive about online return processes and policies, up 6 percentage points in a year. Nonetheless, satisfaction with returns continued to trail the 85% approval rate for online delivery.

On Track: Digital ad spending in Turkey appears on pace to record another double-digital gain in 2017—albeit a modest one. According to figures from the Interactive Advertising Bureau Turkey (IAB Turkey), overall digital ad investment rose 14.6% in 2017's first half year over year to TRY1.06 billion ($350.4 million). The gain is greater than the 11.5% increase eMarketer predicts for the market in 2017, but well off the nearly 30% increases seen annually earlier in the decade. Highlights for the period include a 33.7% jump in digital video advertising and a 32.3% increase in native ad spending.

Thai Time: The value of Thailand's ecommerce market is set to grow by 9.8% this year, reaching THB2.8 trillion ($79.4 billion), according to projections from the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA). That would put Thailand atop all other countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) trade bloc by ETDA's tally. Malaysia ranked second, followed by Vietnam and Indonesia.
