Ticket Dilemma: Nearly half (48%) of respondents to a recent YouGov poll of consumers in Great Britain believe ticket reselling sites like StubHub, Viagogo and Seatwave should be banned. Some 51% said they don't believe the current system for ticket purchasing and distribution works and that government should intervene. Conversely, 18% said the system does work and that high resale prices simply reflect demand.

Ad Frustrations: What types of ads do people dislike? According to a survey of 1,055 online browsers in the US and Europe, many say they dislike pop-up ads, mobile ads and video ads the most.

Side Hustle: More than 44 million American adults have a side gig, data from Bankrate.com reveals. Young millennials are most likely to have one. In fact, 96% of 18- to 26-year-olds said they work on the side at least monthly.

PC Declines: Worldwide PC shipments totaled 61.1 million units Q2 2017, a 4.3% decline from Q2 2016. According to Gartner, shipments in the second-quarter of this year were the lowest quarter volume since 2007.
