Blazing Broadband: Internet users in Singapore and Sweden experience the fastest average broadband download speeds in the world, at 55.13 megabits per second and 40.16 Mbps, respectively, according to speed test data compiled by broadband service comparison site Cable.co.uk. Yemen ranked last at 0.34 Mbps, while the US came in at No. 21, with a 20.0 Mbps average based on test results during the year ending in mid-May. Europe was home to 14 of the top 20 countries for download pace, the study found.
Frequent Fliers: New data from YouGov finds that Southwest Airlines is a favorite among many industry professionals and frequent fliers. In fact, 35% of travel industry professionals said they prefer to fly Southwest more than any other airline, including JetBlue, Delta and United. Southwest was also the top response for travel rewards program members.
Seconds to None: Facebook attracted the largest share of UK adult internet users' online time of any digital property in Q2 2017, according to measurement firm Verto Analytics. The social network's 7.8% slice of overall time spent online was followed by Google search (6.0%) and YouTube (5.0%).
