Rich Content: New data from Zmags found that more than nine in 10 retailers believe rich content provides a positive return on investment (ROI). However, nearly six in 10 are still relying heavily on static imagery when they could be delivering more dynamic experiences.

Up in the Air: Data from Think with Google looking at travelers found that 69% of them are more loyal to travel companies that personalize their experiences both online and offline.

Ad Blocking Plateau Holds Steady: Ad blocking in Germany ticked up incrementally in 2017's second quarter but remained within the average range seen since 2015. During Q2, 20.4% of potential desktop display ad impressions in Germany were blocked, according to tracking by Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) and Online-Vermarkterkreis (OVK). That was up from 19.9% in the preceding quarter, yet still within the 17% to 22% range seen per quarter in the previous two years.
