11Street (known as Korean Street in South Korea) ranks in the top three ecommerce destinations in the country, with over 7 million unique visitors each to its desktop website, Android app and Android mobile site, according to Nielsen KoreanClick.
Among both mobile apps and desktop sites, 11Street was internet users’ top ecommerce destination in the country.
The desktop website had 11.3 million unique visitors in November 2016.
But 11Street’s desktop success wasn’t limited to unique visitors. 11st.co.kr, its South Korean URL, recorded 35.6% reach among internet users—higher than any other ecommerce site.
And though it was second among desktop sites for average time spent per month, at 24.4 minutes, it was topped by a website specializing in online auctions (Gmarket.co.kr), where users competing via bidding might logically spend more time.
11Street also finished as the top Android ecommerce app in South Korea by unique visitors, with over 8.7 million in November 2016. Users spent more than 126 minutes on average with the app during the month.
Only in the mobile internet category did 11Street fail to top the ecommerce rankings for unique visitors. Even so, it still brought in 7.4 million last November, with 24.1% reach among Android mobile internet users—second in the mobile internet ecommerce rankings.
In both the desktop and mobile internet rankings, Gmarket.co.kr and Auction.co.kr also landed in the top three.
