eMarketer: Mobile Internet Ad Spend in China to Almost Double This Year

China will account for 20% of global mobile internet ad spend

LONDON, UK (April 1, 2015) — Mobile internet ad spending in China continues to see strong growth and is expected to almost double this year, according to eMarketer’s latest estimates of ad spending around the world. eMarketer predicts spending on display and search ads delivered to mobile internet-connected devices will reach $13.98 billion this year, up from $7.38 billion in 2014, and will account for 45% of all digital spend in the country.
