eMarketer Hires Digital Marketing and Advertising Veteran Andrew Lipsman

March 26, 2018 (New York, NY) – eMarketer is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Lipsman to its analyst team. Lipsman will serve as principal analyst covering retail and ecommerce. Prior to eMarketer, he was senior vice president of marketing and insights at comScore Inc., covering multiple industries and overseeing the company’s global marketing insights and thought leadership initiatives.

“Having personally known and interacted with Andrew for well over a decade, I am thrilled to have someone with his stature, knowledge base and digital expertise join our growing team of content specialists at eMarketer,” said eMarketer co-founder and chief innovation officer Geoff Ramsey.

Lipsman specializes in several research areas, including social media, ecommerce, mobile, digital advertising and cross-platform marketing. He will draw upon his vast experience to delve into topics including mcommerce, omnichannel, voice and direct-to-consumer.

He began his career at The NPD Group, working with clients such as Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson. He earned his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship, and a BA in public policy studies from Duke University.
