More People Pay for TV, but Cable's Share Slips Slightly

More people than ever will pay for TV this year: according to one estimate, the total number of pay TV subscribers worldwide will reach 907 million in 2013. But while appetite for cable remains strong, particularly in Asia, the increasing popularity of internet television options means that cable's share of the pay TV market is expected to decline slightly.
