Data is from the July 2016 Mu Sigma report titled "2016 State of Analytics and Decision Science." 150 US senior decision-makers were surveyed online in Q1 2016. Respondents were at the director level and above, with 50% of respondents from shared services working as chief data officers, chief analytics officers or chief information officers and 50% of respondents were from lines of business working as marketing, finance and supply chain leaders. Respondents were from companies with at least $500 million in annual revenues and were screened for heavy influence over data and analytics investment decisions. Mu Sigma is a provider of decision science and big data analytics solutions.
