Data is from the August 2016 Ascend2 "2016 State of Lead Generation Survey Summary Report." 244 marketers worldwide were surveyed online in August 2016. Respondents were from B2B companies (49%), B2C companies (25%) and both B2B and B2C companies (26%). Respondents identified their role as owner/partner/CxO (49%), VP/director/manager (43%) and nonmanagement (8%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as fewer than 50 (24%), 50-500 (40%) and 500+ (36%).
