US Homes Filled With Screens

Nine out of 10 US households surveyed have a television in the living room, and nearly two-thirds of those living rooms also have PCs, according to JupiterResearch's recent "Digital Home: Moving Beyond the Concept of the Three Screens to Uncover New Revenue Opportunities" report.

JupiterResearch also found that 22% of homes have three or more PCs.

"The rise of both PCs and TVs in the home is leading the start of a change in consumer behavior and their desire to move content from screen to screen," said Nathan Saffron, analyst at JupiterResearch.

So far, few consumers are shifting content from screen to screen.

Only 6% of consumers watch video stored on their PCs using their TV sets.
